Record breaking elections results at Brunel lead to their first ever female Vice President in CDEPS
Falling on international women’s day, third year engineering student Peri Sherif made History at Brunel University London becoming the first ever female vice president of CDEPS (College of Design, Engineering and Physical Science).
Part of Peri’ manifesto is to improve mental and sexual health services available to students at Brunel and encourage more females to study STEM subjects like herself.
With a record-breaking number of students voting in the spring elections, we met up with Peri in her role to find out the importance of voting and how she won her position.
